Historicon – first held in 1984 – is HMGS, Inc’s flagship gaming convention, usually held in July each year.
Hundreds of tabletop miniatures games for you to participate in; tournaments; hobby classes; lectures; a board game library; and over 60 hobby-related vendors.

Historicon 2025
With 2,600 attendees (+1.7% over 2024), Historicon 2024 was our best attended Historicon since 2013 (our second year in Fredericksburg). Attendance continues to show steady growth over the past five years.

Historicon 2024
With 2,557 attendees (+9.1% over 2023), Historicon 2024 was our second-best attended Historicon since 2013 (only beaten by 2018’s 2,579). Attendance continues to show steady growth in the four “post COVID” years.
