Historicon 2025 Attendee Registration opening

Registration for Historicon 2025 will open for all attendees on Tuesday, May 20th at 8:00 PM EDT. Game Host, Volunteer and Vendor Badges are already being entered by staff and recipients should receive a Badge Verification email from Tabletop.Events (TTE) soon. We encourage everyone to be sure you have created your Tabletop Events account before Registration opens to make it easier to select events, Hobby University and War College Classes, and Tournaments, as well as purchasing Wally’s Basement Tables, T-shirts, etc.  You can review the current Events schedule now to start shortlisting the Tickets you’d like to add to your Badge – remember, you can create a shortlist of “Liked Events” under your TTE account.

How to Register for Badges & Tickets

HMGS has created an “Attendee Registration Instructions” PDF (accessible here).

If you are a non-Member, you can click the ‘Get/View Your Badge‘ dropdown option from the ‘Attend’ menu on the Historicon 2025 site on TTE.

If you are a Member (and want the Member pricing) you must:

  • verify your Membership status by logging in to hmgs.org;
  • then navigate to the Historicon 2025 page, and
  • access the Member Pricing Verification page from the Historicon 2025 drop-down menu;
  • click on the badge type you wish to purchase to access the Member Pricing on Tabletop.Events.

Youth and Non-playing Partner badges can be added AFTER you have purchased your badge.  Links to buy these Badge types are in the “Badge Verified” email you should receive after buying your Badge.

Complimentary Badges for Exhibitors, qualified Game Hosts, Volunteers, War College speakers, and Hobby University instructors are entered into the system by Convention Staff.  They are in the process of being entered, so you may or may not have received your “Badge Verified” email yet.  If you believe you’re entitled to a complimentary Badge, and have not received a “Badge Verified” email by the time Attendee Registration opens, please contact the appropriate Senior Staff member for the area (e.g., Events Manager for Game Host badges, Volunteer CoordinatorExhibit Hall Manager, etc.).

What we have on-tap

Our staff has been hard at work entering and scheduling over 600 events, classes and lectures; and we already have over 60 Vendors registered for the convention. The Historicon staff is verifying the final game placement, and we are testing and updating the site to make sure everything is ready when registration opens on Tuesday night.

Hotels

For those folks still looking for accommodations for the Convention, the Lancaster Wyndham Resort (formerly known as The Host) has made available a number of rooms at a discounted rate of $199/night +taxes, for a room with 2 queen-size beds. Since there are a limited number of rooms (<50) the Convention Director is going to collect the names of people that email in their interest in these rooms. Preference is going to be given to those people who are interested in 3 or more nights.  The Historicon 2025 Convention Director email is director@historicon.org.  We will notify those interested folks as soon as we confirm rooms for you at the Wyndham at which time you will be provided information to make your reservation. HMGS continues to try to work with local hotels to obtain additional rooms at a discount rate, but it is challenging during the busy tourist season, while also not knowing how many additional rooms are needed by attendees.

Sincerely,

Scott Landis and the Historicon Staff
Historicon 2025 Convention Director
